A Student’s Project from BANM Wins Grant in Switzerland

A BANM student’s project has won a grant in Switzerland.

Roman Tolstosheyev, a fourth-year student in the Information Security program at Baku Higher Oil School (BANM), represented Azerbaijan within the framework of the “Generation Connect Young Leadership Program.” At the event held in Geneva, Switzerland, his project on “Cybersecurity and Blockchain” won a grant of 5000 USD.

The competition received 5329 applications from countries worldwide, including Canada, the United Kingdom, China, and Kazakhstan. Among them, only 30 participants were selected, including our student Roman.

The program was organized by the International Telecommunication Union and Huawei. We wholeheartedly congratulate Roman.

Baku Higher Oil School (BANM) is one of Azerbaijan’s leading higher education institutions, established in 2011. The school aims to prepare highly qualified specialists for the oil and gas industry.
