- The Exposure Triangle: Photography is all about capturing the light. Therefore, you must understand the exposure triangle.
- Aperture: The smaller the number, the wider the aperture. The wider the aperture, the more light comes in. Aperture size also affects depth of field.
- Shutter Speed: The slower the shutter speed, the more light comes in.
- ISO: A higher ISO allows you to take photos in darker situations, but the trade-off is noise (“grain”).
- The Exposure Triangle: Photography is all about capturing the light. Therefore, you must understand the exposure triangle.
- How to Hold the Camera: No one wants to click shaky pictures,so it is very important to learn how to hold your camera properly in order to minimize the camera shakes as much as possible. “Golden Rule: No movement equals no camera shake.”
- Change Your Perspective: Everyone knows the viewpoint already, we actually interact with the world from a viewpoint like everyday. But it’s kinda boring and ordinary.
The fix is easy, just shoot from a different vantage points! -
- Elevation change; like you can get closer to the ground
- Angle change; try straight up or from a side
- Change your distance; either get closure or go far away
