University Hospital of Sharjah organizes an international conference for paediatrics and neonatology
Sharjah, UAE, 27th February 2023, ZEXPRWIRE, The University Hospital Sharjah organized its tenth International Conference for Paediatrics and Neonatology from January 27-28. It’s considered one of the most successful well known paediatric conferences in the region. Duo to its specialty, regularity and number of registrations which exceeded seven hundreds of medical professionals, consultants and workers in the field of specialty. And in other supportive and related specialties such as intensive care for preterm infants, paediatric surgeries, diabetes, endocrinology and genetic diseases.
The tenth edition of the conference was distinguished by scientific and cultural diversity, as it brought together the pioneer speakers of specialization, not only from the Emirate of Sharjah, but it witnessed the participation of all Emirates at the local level, Arab countries had been represented at the regional level, such as: for example, but not limited to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Iraq, Being international conference it was open on the latest Scientific papers at the global level with the presence of speakers from the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium and India. The date of the conference, which was linked to the Arab Health Exhibition, added momentum in terms of the diversity of participants from many countries.
As usual, the conference is open to other auxiliary supportive specialties of paediatrics with the aim of coming up with recommendations that have a comprehensive benefit for patients. Therefore, doctors and scientists spoke in the field of paediatric orthopedic, endocrinology, and diagnostic radiology and laboratory tests.
In addition, the conference achieved the hospital’s Public-Private collaboration mission between the governmental hospitals and private medical providers’ sectors as the speakers and attendees were from both. Especially since the University Hospital Sharjah has one of the largest centres of excellence for mother and child health as it has state of the art NICU , Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Haematology, Genetic and Genetic Diseases, Fertility and IVF Centre and Paediatric Surgeries.
