Balkalakaar 2025: Painting Dreams, Empowering Futures

New Delhi, India, 6th November 2025, ZEX PR WIRE, AIESEC in Delhi IIT successfully hosted Balkalakaar 2025, its annual flagship social impact event dedicated to nurturing creativity and self-expression among underprivileged children. The event brought together over 900 young participants from various NGOs across Delhi for a day filled with art, imagination, and inspiration. At the heart of Balkalakaar 2025 was an art competition, offering children a platform to express their dreams, emotions, and ideas through colors and creativity. The competition was judged by an esteemed panel comprising Sahib Sabpra, Founder of TutCart; Gauri Agrawal, representing UN Women; and two senior art educators from Mount Abu Public School.

The judges praised the participants for their originality, effort, and emotional depth, emphasizing how art continues to serve as a universal language of hope and self-expression. To make the experience even more engaging, our studio partner, Lagoom, performed a lively Nukkad Natak that captivated the children and volunteers alike. The performance, filled with humor and heart, beautifully highlighted themes of empathy, togetherness, and empowerment leaving every child with a smile. The event’s success was made possible through the generous support of our partners. Kabaddi Champions League, UNIBIC, Tapas Foundation, and ISDM (Indian School of Development Management) joined as advisory partners, while Simplify Money extended their support as an event partner. Their contributions were instrumental in ensuring a smooth and impactful execution of the initiative.

A special acknowledgement goes to the Rotary Club of Delhi West Metro, whose invaluable support enabled us to provide scholarships to the winners of the art competition. Their contribution will help these young artists continue their educational and creative journeys long after the event, making the impact of Balkalakaar truly lasting. Behind the seamless execution of Balkalakaar 2025 stood a passionate and determined team led by Rudraksh Raj, Head of Business Development at AIESEC in Delhi IIT, along with his managers Ujjwal Rohilla and Dhriti Gupta. Their leadership, combined with the tireless efforts of the organizing committee and over 200 volunteers, ensured that every child enjoyed a meaningful, joyful, and memorable experience. Speaking about the event, the organizing team shared, “Balkalakaar is not just about art, it’s about giving children the chance to dream freely, to express without fear, and to be seen for who they are. Each painting tells a story of hope, and that’s what makes this initiative so special.” As the colors on the canvases begin to fade, the memories of that day continue to shine brightly in the hearts of everyone involved. Balkalakaar 2025 stands as a proud testament to AIESEC in Delhi IIT’s mission, empowering young minds, inspiring communities, and painting a brighter, more colorful future for all.
