Dr. Jon Wilhelm Invited by Team Austria and Team Czech Skeleton to provide Sports Chiropractic Services at IBSF North American World Cup Events.

Bozeman, MT, 29th April 2023, ZEX PR WIRE, Dr. Wilhelm has recently been honored with an invitation to provide sports chiropractic services at the IBSF Skeleton North American World Cup events by Team Austria and Team Czech Skeleton.

Dr. Wilhelm’s extensive experience in elite sports chiropractic care in the sports world has earned him the invitation. During this assignment, he provided chiropractic care to four national team athletes at the International IBSF World Cup competitions in Park City, Utah, and Lake Placid, New York City. This marks the third time Dr. Wilhelm has provided chiropractic care to team Austria skeleton athletes, a testament to his exemplary work.

Dr. Wilhelm’s background in sports medicine and his specialization in sports chiropractic care have contributed significantly to his success. He holds a Master of Science degree in Sports and is recognized as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). Furthermore, he is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians, the ACA Sports Council, the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic – FICS, and the Montana Chiropractic Association. He is also a partner physician for Montana State University Athletics and has worked with USA Gymnastics, USA Track and Field, USA Bobsled Skeleton, and numerous international athletes, teams and federations.

Dr. Wilhelm’s proficiency in sports medicine and performance chiropractic therapy enables him to pinpoint the underlying source of musculoskeletal dysfunction and provide his athletes and patients with the most effective physical medicine methods. He uses manual therapies like Spinal Manipulation and Mobilization, Cupping Therapy, Guided PEMF Therapy, Shockwave Therapy, and Dynamic Taping. Additionally, Dr. Wilhelm has completed training in Extremity Management, Dry Needling Therapy, Advanced IASTM Technique, Fascial Manipulation, FAKTR Rehabilitative Methods, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Whiplash and Spinal Trauma Advanced Certification.

Dr. Wilhelm’s excellent work in sports chiropractic care was recognized when he was selected as the 2018 ACA Sports Council American Sports Chiropractor of the Year. He also served on the USOPC Team USA Medical Team for the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, and as part of GB Medical Team, Great Britain for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Beijing, China.  Both firsts for a sports chiropractor in Montana. Dr. Wilhelm’s achievements have continued recently. In the past few months he was invited to work at The World Games in Birmingham, Alabama and to events in Turkey, Switzerland, Spain, Austria and more.
