Harbor Classic Partners with One Tree Planted to Launch The Harbor Classic Project
Charleston, SC, 6th May 2022, ZEXPRWIRE, Harbor Classic recently launched a project to mitigate any environmental impact resulting from the production of its outdoor furniture. The Harbor Classic Project is a partnership with One Tree Planted to fight deforestation in Indonesia, where Harbor Classic manufactures its furniture.
Indonesian teak wood is an already sustainable material. While the government-owned teak forests are closely monitored and there are measures to help with deforestation, Harbor Classic still felt a need to do more. The Harbor Classic Project is committed to being a responsible professional steward of the world by fighting deforestation with each purchase.
Harbor Classic is committed to donating one tree for every piece of furniture sold. Harbor Classic will also plant one tree when a customer shares a photo of their Harbor Classic furniture with the hashtag #harborclassicproject. (That’s up to two trees planted just for purchasing one piece of furniture!)
