Live tonight at 7:30pm est. Michael Blackson and Faison Love will go toe-to-toe, exchanging low blows virtually as Fame Productions and Yardout Entertainment presents: The Virtual Comedy Battle. Michael Blackson, the Philly native by way of Ghana, who is best known from his role in Ice Cube’s Next Friday and the signature tag line “Mudasucka”, takes on veteran comedian/actor Faison Love best known for his roles in Money Talks, Don’t Be A Menace, Players Club and as Big Worm in Friday. This comedic heavyweight boxing match will benefit food pantries helping to feed the needy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It is an honor to be able to donate my talents for such a great cause,” said comedian and actor Faizon Love. “I can’t wait to crack jokes with my friends and bring laughter to the world, while helping to provide food to families during these difficult times.”

Michael Blackson commented “This battle is for two reasons only! Feed the hungry and roast the h*** out of Faizon in the process. Come help feed America and laugh in the process.”

“It [COVID-19] really hit home for me when I saw many of my hard-working family members lose their jobs and had to turn to food pantries during these challenging times,” said Bobby Ferguson, owner of Fame Productions.

There will also be a special guest host and four other comedians battling: Malik S, Trey Elliott, Jamal Doman and Denny Live. So make sure you grab your ringside seats. Tickets are available online at THECOMEDYBATTLE.COM. General tickets are $10 with a portion going towards the LA Food Bank and the Mid-Ohio Food Bank.
