Dubai, UAE, 15th Jan 2022, ZEXPRWIRE, On Monday, January 17, a concert of the Moscow Virtuosi State Chamber Orchestra will be held at the Dubai Opera, organized by the Moscow Government as part of the promotion of the Russian capital’s bid for the right to host the EXPO in 2030.
The chamber orchestra “Moscow Virtuosi” has existed since 1979. The renowned group of musicians – laureates and laureates of international and all-Russian competitions are distinguished by their professionalism and skill, as well as high ethics of relations. For us, as maestro Vladimir Spivakov says, creativity has become a need, and work has become an art, which, according to Pablo Picasso, “washes away the dust of everyday life”.
It is distinguished from many other chamber orchestras, first of all, by a truly high European culture of ensemble performance, attention to the smallest details and nuances, attentive, informal, active creative position in relation to the author’s intention, bright artistry, love and respect for the audience who came to the concert. In each performance, Moscow virtuosos manage to emotionally excite and intellectually captivate anyone, even an unprepared person, to give him the joy of communicating with musical masterpieces, to awaken in him the desire to come to the concert again. To emotionally excite the audience and intellectually captivate every listener, even the ignorant, to awaken the desire to come back to chamber music concerts, “Moscow Virtuosi” consider the most important goal of their performances.
“The Moscow Virtuosi is the only Russian orchestra to have recordings under the famous BMG Classics and RCA Red Seal labels. The orchestra continues its intense, but joyful creative work, maintaining the highest performing level and the right to the ambitious title of “Moscow Virtuosi”.
The Moscow Virtuosi is our world-renowned collective led by the great maestro Vladimir Spivakov. The unique orchestra tours extensively, representing Moscow in all major concert halls on all continents. For many years, the “Virtuosi of Moscow” have been the hallmark of the capital of Russia, its creative envoy, bringing good and high art to people of different countries in the universal language of classical music. It is symbolic that the maestro’s concert in Dubai will take place in support of Moscow’s application to host the EXPO in 2030. I invite the residents of Dubai and the guests of EXPO 2020 to attend the concert and get unforgettable emotions from the skill of our best artists,” says Alexander Kibovsky, Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Moscow City Department of Culture.
Every year “Virtuosi of Moscow” give more than 100 concerts, mainly on tour. The geography of the tours is very extensive: it includes all regions of Russia, the territory of the former Soviet Union, European countries, the USA and Japan. In all countries Virtuosos give their concerts not only in the best and most prestigious concert halls such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Musikverrain in Vienna, the Royal Festival Hall and Albert Hall in London, the Pleyel Theater and the Champs Elysees in Paris, Carnegie Hall and Avery Fisher Hall in New York, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, but also in the usual venues of small towns.
The outstanding violinist and conductor Vladimir Spivakov has been the permanent artistic director and chief conductor of the chamber orchestra since its inception. It is thanks to maestro Spivakov, his many years of painstaking work with the orchestra, that the Moscow Virtuosi are among the best chamber orchestras in the world with a permanent and grateful audience all over the world, recognition and the highest reputation won over the years of hard and creative work.
