With this in mind, TIE Finance has developed an automated strategy that involved staking ETH in Lido to generate stETH (a transferable rebasing token representing a share of total staked ETH), borrowing additional ETH against stETH, and staking the borrowed ETH once again.
Repeating this loop — hence the name “looping” — has the potential to yield significantly higher returns compared to traditional staking.
